Custom MLM LeadsI used to see ads for Custom MLM Leads, Guaranteed MLM Leads, Qualified MLM Leads, even Pre-Qualified MLM Leads all the time when working my network marketing business. As many of you Multi-Level Marketers (MLM) know that these ads were written by lead generation companies to help you recruit more people to your business. People who were looking for an income opportunity would fill out an application and submit it to learn more about it. The packages they would sell would range from fresh new leads to old leads at bargain prices. For a long time, many network marketers would build their business this way. The advantages were -- - You could stay home and make phone calls. - You didn't have to dress up to see anyone. - You didn't spend a lot of time on prospects that showed little or no interest on your opportunity. - You could do a 3-way call to a short pre-recorded message or to your upline LIVE.
For a while, these were the best Custom MLM Leads available. You could also work on your phone skills and get better with your presentation. I became familiar with a script and made sure it was handy when talking to people. If I got an answer machine, I would recite a short message and leave my website address -- something easy for the prospect to write down and remember. However, there were also problems with these Custom MLM Leads. 1. Some got pretty expensive after a while. You could pay $5 for a fresh lead to 25 cents for a 90 day old leads. 2. They’re unpredictable. Some lead lists would generate several new representatives and customers. I had some that didn’t give me any results. 3. Some people had been called repeatedly by other network marketers. A company will keep a lead exclusive for a few days, then release it to many others after that. 4. Some of the people I called had no idea why they were on the list.
Many of these companies would require you to pay a monthly fee for their follow up system as well. The follow up was important -- the cost to rent them was a little high in most cases. How do you get Custom MLM Leads ? What makes them qualified? What makes them Pre-Qualified? Is there any Guarantee with them? Unfortunately, there is no guarantee for any lead in any business. Custom MLM leads come to you best when a person is surfing the internet and finds your opportunity on your website. Since there are so many people online these days, this is becoming more commonplace and not just a dream. I think it's more important to learn about the best uses of the internet before you can move forward on your MLM business.
